Delivery Driver Job Duties
- Deliver parts accurately and efficiently to customers throughout the local service area.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload parts and materials safely.
- Maintain delivery schedules while providing excellent customer service.
- Collect, return, and file delivery paperwork and customer documentation.
- Assist customers with core returns and parts returns.
- Support warehouse operations when not on delivery routes.
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming freight and inventory.
- Pull orders and prepare parts for customer pickup and delivery.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and inventory organization.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist warehouse staff with special projects and department initiatives.
- Operate company vehicles in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- CDL is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to safely load, unload, and transport materials.
- Good knowledge of the local area and ability to follow directions efficiently.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must successfully meet company driving requirements.
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
- Warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
- Experience working in a customer-facing role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Ability to represent the company professionally with customers and vendors.
