Annual On-Target Earning: $100k - including uncapped monthly commission from sales.
Annual Base Pay Salary: $40k - $50k DOE

Interstate Power System's Lakeville Minnesota location is looking for an Outside Parts and Service Sales Representative. Outside Parts and Service Sales Representatives fulfill a critical role in our operations. They are responsible for increasing Parts and Service Sales with existing accounts, prospecting for new accounts, and promoting our rental & equipment sales departments. They solicit new business and maintain accounts through face-to-face and phone contacts, developing networks and industry contacts, promoting our value-added products and services, and keeping customer satisfaction a priority.

A company vehicle, laptop and cell phone will be provided with this position.

Parts Sales Representative Job Duties

• The duties of this position will be to actively promote parts and service sales of our heavy-duty equipment lines in the assigned territory, as well as promote rental department sales & capabilities, and drive equipment sales growth.
• Actively identify and develop new customer contacts to expand market share and sales of parts and service.
• Assist customers in solving problems and provide technical support.
• Act as a liaison between the customer and company as needed to ensure that the customer needs are adequately met.

Parts Sales Representative Desired Skills and Qualities

• Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
• A self-starter who can identify the strengths presents in a location and utilize those strengths to develop a positive business plan.
• Proven background in sales
• Clear driving record
• Available for overnight travel

Parts Sales Representative Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent required
• 3 years recent/relevant experience with outside sales
• Experience in distribution, industrial and/or heavy equipment a plus
