Overview
We are urgently seeking multiple skilled Trailer Repair Technician to join our team immediately. This role involves repairing, and maintaining various trailers and box trucks and components to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance.
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, experience with semi trailer and box truck repairs, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience and familiarity with trailer and box truck repairs are highly valued.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth for technicians. Hourly rate will be set based on experience level for the right candidates.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive repairs on trailers, including brakes, suspensions, axles, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Replace or repair components such as shocks & struts, tires, and air brake systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques for repairs and modifications
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, aerial lifts, and other industrial equipment as needed
- Conduct preventive maintenance on trailers and heavy equipment to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret schematics for complex electrical and mechanical systems
- Perform alignment procedures and suspension repairs to ensure proper vehicle operation
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of trailer components or machinery during repairs
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in trailer and or box truck repairand maintenance, or heavy equipment service.
- Proficiency with schematics, diagnostic tools, welding (including soldering), and fabrication techniques
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, maintenance equipment, and performing tire service or wheel alignment tasks
- Experience with vehicle maintenance including brake repair, shocks & struts replacement, suspension work, HVAC servicing, and diesel engine repair
- Capable of heavy lifting safely and working in physically demanding environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills combined with excellent customer service orientation
- Valid driver’s license required and a valid Class A or B CDL preferred

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
