What are the responsibilities and job description for the Anticipated Educational Sign Language Interpreter position at Interstate 35 Community School District?
The Interstate 35 Community School District, is seeking dedicated candidates to join our amazing team of associates. We have an opening for an educational sign language interpreter for the 2025-2026 school year. These candidates would provide assistance to student(s) to interpret all information presented in learning situations in and outside of the classroom, teach student(s) new signs to increase vocabulary, and provide student(s) with instructional services according to their needs designed the IEP of the student. This is a contracted position that would align with the school year calendar. Education requirements: HS Diploma, licensure form the Iowa Department of Professional Licensure, Board of Sign Language Interpreters and Translators, and know of correct English usage; conceptually accurate signed English.
