SUMMARY:
A growing law firm in Glendale is hiring an Accountant / Bookkeeper to handle full-cycle accounting using QuickBooks Online (QBO). This in-person position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with law firm experience. You’ll work directly with firm leadership to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
The role requires 25 - 30 hours per week to start, with flexibility in schedule and the potential to expand as the firm grows.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Full-Cycle Accounting
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks
- Handle A/R, A/P, invoicing, and collections
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and chart of accounts
QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Prepare monthly financial reports using QBO
- Ensure data accuracy and timely entries
- Set up and maintain QBO best practices and integrations
Firm & Client Billing
- Track client trust accounts and ensure compliance
- Generate client invoices and coordinate with attorneys
- Maintain proper documentation for audit readiness
Payroll & Compliance
- Assist with payroll processing and compliance tracking
- Monitor tax filings and work with CPA as needed
- Maintain vendor 1099s and reporting records

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Experience working with law firms or professional services preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiar with California tax rules and payroll compliance
- Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting or related field preferred
