Position Overview:
We are searching for an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our firm. The successful candidate will handle a caseload, representing clients in landlord/tenant, habitability and tenants rights matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions and mediations.
- Engage in effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel and guidance to clients throughout the legal process.
- Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active Bar membership in CA.
- 1 years of experience practicing in one of the following areas: personal injury, habitability, property damage, lemon law, or employment law.
- Exceptional litigation and negotiation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
