Job Title: Systems Software Programmer – Consultant (10670)
Location: Cayce, South Carolina (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote after 1 month)
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Interview Mode: One Round – Virtual
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using Angular (PrimeNG), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Design and build RESTful APIs and backend services using ASP.NET Core
- Work on system modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy applications
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment
- Perform unit, integration, regression, and automated testing
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize database performance and maintain data integrity
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards (HIPAA, NIST, etc.)
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and deployment activities
- Support reporting systems and integrations (Power BI or similar tools)
Required Skills
- 3 years of experience with:
- PrimeNG, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- ASP.NET Core (REST API development)
- Microsoft SQL Server / SQL (data modeling, stored procedures, performance tuning)
- DevOps practices (CI/CD, deployment automation)
- 5 years of experience in:
- Manual AND automated testing across SDLC
- 3 years of experience in:
- Technical documentation
- Strong understanding of:
- System design, integrations, and application architecture
- Familiarity with:
- Security and compliance standards (HIPAA, NIST, etc.)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with information security frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, CJIS)
- Experience in IT implementation projects
- Exposure to Power BI or data pipelines
- Familiarity with Azure or cloud infrastructure
- Experience with SharePoint or collaboration platforms
- Prior government/public sector experience (preferred)
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field OR equivalent work experience
