What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP FICO Sr. Consultant position at InterSec Inc.?
As a SAP FICO Senior Consultant, you will make an impact by leading the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Finance solutions, with a strong focus on SAP FI/CO, PS, S4 Data Structure & CDS / Reporting. You will be a valued member of the SAP Finance team and work collaboratively with Finance leaders, business stakeholders, enterprise architects, integration teams, and global delivery teams to support financial transformation initiatives and drive operational excellence.
In this role, you will:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP FICO and Central Finance solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Configure and support financial processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, FSCM, Material Ledger, and CO-PA.
- Manage Central Finance data replication, mappings, reconciliation activities, and integration between source and target systems.
- Monitor and resolve replication errors, mapping inconsistencies, and financial data issues to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance, Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and IT to ensure seamless integration between SAP modules and external systems.
- Lead workshops, requirements gathering sessions, solution reviews, testing activities, end-user training, and go-live support.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize financial processes and improve system performance.
