Duties
- Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Manage inventory using in-house warehouse management systems (Kiiplist) and RF scanners to track stock levels accurately.
- Perform stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and organizing inventory for optimal accessibility and efficiency.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving processes to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and control procedures in compliance with OSHA standards to maintain safety and accuracy.
- Support manufacturing or construction-related activities by handling materials with mechanical knowledge and heavy lifting techniques.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to safety protocols and operating heavy equipment responsibly.
Qualifications
- 2 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial experience
- Basic mechanical skills and the ability to use hand/power tools
- Forklift experience (certification a plus)
- Ability to learn new software and follow documented processes
- Strong attention to detail, safety-minded, and reliable
- Ability perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods.
- Able to read mechanical drawings (a plus)
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, and stock control.
- Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment and safety procedures aligned with OSHA standards.
