Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical parts and systems using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments according to technical drawings and production documents
- Interpret and follow detailed assembly instructions, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to transport materials within the manufacturing facility
- Conduct manual handling of heavy components while maintaining proper safety protocols to prevent injuries
- Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure precise assembly and quality standards are met
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production targets efficiently while maintaining safety standards in production
- Assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for lean manufacturing practices and workflow enhancements
Requirements
- Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a strong understanding of mechanical assembly processes
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments required for assembly tasks
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents clearly and accurately
- Familiarity with forklift operation and warehouse procedures preferred
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper manual handling techniques and heavy lifting protocols
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly line processes, process improvement, and manufacturing management principles
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
