PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB AND CONTRIBUTION TO ORGANIZATION: 

To represent and operate within the company’s product sales department in an organized, professional, profitable, and customer focused way with alignment to the company’s operational objective.

ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The Associate will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the supervisor. Job duties may change as required by needs of company. 

1. Maintain and foster existing key accounts in conjunction with the regional sales managers and other departments

2. Quote and enter orders for assigned products and customers in SAP

3. Identify and develop solutions for new applications using application data sheets, drawings, pictures, and customer questioning

4. Prepare quotations with standard and custom products and solutions

5. Maintain or exceed standard quotation and detailed proposal lead time goals

6. Take phone calls and emails from customers and repair shops to assist with product problems and opportunities

7. Complete all required sales and project reporting on time and with accuracy

8. Participate in all sales and project meetings

9. Ability to work under tight deadlines, not limited to working overtime or alternate shifts

10. All other responsibilities as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

2. 5 years of inside sales or customer service experience preferred

3. Bachelor's degree a plus

4. Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised and manage time effectively

5. Advanced written and oral communication skills

6. Possess the ability to solve practical problems, understand material flow and measurements or calculations

7. Ability to operate a pallet jack 

8. Advanced computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, and SAP experience a plus

9. Ability to understand, interpret and discuss detailed engineering drawings

10. Possess the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers

11. Ability to assess application needs and provide solutions with custom products

12. Possess good judgment and decision-making ability

13. Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of people


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is required to frequently reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift, and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet. Wearing the proper PPE (protective eyewear, ear plugs and steel-toed shoes) is a requirement in most areas of this facility.





Monday - Friday 7am to 3:30pm

Salary : $21 - $25
