Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Shop Hand position located in Midland, TX. In this role, the Shop Hand will support the inspection, maintenance, assembly, and disassembly of downhole tools and related equipment. Daily responsibilities include equipment cleaning, organization of the shop area, performing routine inspections, assisting with inventory control, and supporting the operations team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of tools for field activities.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate, maintain, and repair tools and equipment
- Skilled in performing inspections and ensuring tools meet quality standards
- Experience with inventory management and organization of materials
- Physical ability to lift, carry and handle equipment in a shop environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in related fields preferred
- Previous experience in a shop or manufacturing environment is beneficial
- Ability to pass drug test and background check
