Manager, Inventory Control

Part of the Interparfums group founded in 1982, Interparfums USA develops, manufactures and distributes prestige perfumes and cosmetics as the exclusive worldwide licensee for Abercrombie & Fitch, Anna Sui, DKNY, Donna Karan, Graff, GUESS, Hollister, MCM, Oscar de la Renta, Roberto Cavalli, Salvatore Ferragamo and Ungaro. The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of inventory across all locations. This role oversees end-to-end inventory control processes, identifies and resolves discrepancies, and drives continuous improvement across supply chain and warehouse operations. The position plays a key role in strengthening inventory governance, improving system accuracy, and partnering cross-functionally to enhance overall operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure integrity of all inventory transactions within the ERP system.
• Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and supply chain standards.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and variances, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Partner with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and internal stakeholders to improve inventory accuracy, controls, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee cycle count programs and physical inventory processes, including execution, reporting, and trend analysis.
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliations across designated locations and ensure timely resolution of variances.
• Execute inventory adjustments and item-level reconciliations as needed.
• Support internal and external audit requirements by providing documentation, analysis, and process support.
• Identify gaps in existing inventory processes and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 4 years of progressive experience in inventory management within manufacturing or distribution.
• Beauty or CPG experience highly preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective cross-functional and external business relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work flexibly across office environments and warehouse settings.
