Our Client is looking for a skilled MongoDB Developer to support enterprise-scale healthcare and retail applications. The role focuses on designing and optimizing MongoDB data solutions, ensuring high performance, reliability, and compliance within regulated environments. This position requires close collaboration with application, DevOps, and data teams in an Agile delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain MongoDB databases for high-volume, high-availability applications.
- Build optimized data models, indexes, and aggregation pipelines to support application performance.
- Develop and maintain database integrations with backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python.
- Perform query optimization, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Implement and manage replica sets, sharding, and backup/recovery strategies.
- Ensure data security, access controls, and encryption aligned with enterprise and HIPAA guidelines.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and collaborate on automated deployments.
- Monitor production databases, troubleshoot issues, and provide root-cause analysis.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with MongoDB in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of MongoDB schema design, indexing, aggregation framework, and performance tuning.
- Experience with MongoDB Atlas and cloud-based deployments.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language: Java, Node.js, or Python.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git).
- Strong understanding of database fundamentals and data consistency models.
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or retail domains.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and data governance standards.
- Experience with Kafka, messaging systems, or data streaming.
