International Protective Service, Inc. (IPS) is seeking quality candidates for the position of LEVEL 3, Armed Security Officer in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

This is a "variable hours" position based on the scheduling needs of our clients and your willingness to work.

Qualifications:

• Be able to purchase all required gear (ie. duty belt, holsters, etc.) Uniforms are provided.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid NM State Driver's License
• Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be either a United States citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without
• restriction
• Must NOT have been convicted of, or pled guilty or nolo contendere to, a criminal offense in any
• state, territory, district of the United States or foreign country, that would exclude you from
• obtaining/maintaining a Security Guard License.
• Have a clean Driving Record & provide a copy from the State of NM
• MUST currently hold a Level 3 Guard Card through the NM RLD (Please see the NM RLD
• website for qualifications)
• IPS holds in-house certification classes onsite, please call for more information.
• MUST pass a full background check including drug-screening

Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Warning violators of premise rules and regulations
• Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Report on any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations

Prior employment, criminal and credit history will be verified.

Current/Former/Retired Law Enforcement or Military experience PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED.
