Responsibilities
JOB OVERVIEW:
Offer best in class travel consulting to valued customers complete with travel arrangements including but not limited to air, hotel, car, and limo.
The role will be assisting our independent advisor business owner on all aspects of travel for their medical repatriation clients. Providing a qualified specialist booking service for the World-wide Medical Emergency Assistance Industry we pride ourselves in providing an industry leading service repatriating people back home when they have suffered an illness or accident whilst abroad. Our 24-hour team of experts handle sensitive situations with care, speed and efficiency in a busy environment working closely together to solve problems, discuss ideas and find inspiration.
WORK SCHEDULE HERE:
- The work schedule for one shift is 11 PM to 7:45 AM EST. Any five (5) days per week.
- The work schedule for a second shift is 2 PM to 10:45 PM EST. Four (4) 10.75 hour days or five (5) 8.75 hour days; atleast one (1) day must be a Sat or Sun.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Book air, car, and hotel utilizing the Sabre reservation system.
- Issue tickets, exchanges, MCOs, voids and refunds using the SABRE reservation system.
- Invoicing as required utilizing Sabre or Agent Portal.
- Deliver extraordinary customer service by providing consultative service to clients throughout the booking process and by completing all reservations in an accurate and timely manner.
- Adept at using the internet to research destinations, accommodations, travel advisories, reviews, and costs to best meet customers’ travel objectives.
- Handle most customer service issues directly with the appropriate vendor(s) with the goal of achieving the best resolution on behalf of and in the best interest of customers and the Company, while keeping the independent advisor informed.
- International travel planning with knowledge of world geography, routing, faring and international requirements of traveling to foreign countries.
- To creatively support and understand our client’s assistance needs and offer the best professional advice to solve travel and transportation problems and timing, with care.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or at least three (3) years of experience as a full-time travel agent, booking domestic and international travel, using public and private carriers.
- Strong knowledge of Sabre reservation system (preferably in graphical mode) including GDS formats, short cuts, enhancements, pricing, fare calculations, e-ticketing, and exchanges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly relay information to clients and counsel them on all their travel options.
- Excellent dispute resolution skills.
- Must be well-organized and detail oriented.
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Time management. Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple responsibilities.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working. Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
