What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant-Clinical Knowledge pay-based (work with Provider) within area position at Internist Medical Group?
Full Time Certified Medical Assistant (Works with Provider): MA must have knowledge of collecting reason for follow up visit, update current condition, and vitals. Also need to collect health related info. (If you don't know, our office staff will train you) Referrals, Preauthorization for Procedure and Medications, schedule appropriate tests/labs/Xray, and: Must have knowledge on Medical terminology, Knowledge of Electronic Medical record, etc.
Must have minimum six months Medical office, Urgent care, Specialist office experience and able to use Electronic Medical Record.
Must have knowledge of medical terminology. Be able to multitask and work as a team.
Office staff are very caring for each other and go along with other well. The work as a team. Very collegial working condition
