iPS Logistics is a third-party logistics (3PL) company providing warehousing, order fulfillment, distribution, and transportation services for a diverse group of customers.
We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. Accuracy and quality are critical in our operation. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows established procedures, and understands the importance of handling and shipping our customers' products correctly.
This is a hands-on warehouse position involving receiving, product inspection, inventory handling, picking, packing, quality control, shipping, and general warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, inspect, label, and properly store incoming products
- Perform product inspections according to customer specifications and established quality standards
- Identify, document, and report product defects, damage, discrepancies, or other quality issues
- Pick and stage products accurately according to orders and pick documentation
- Pack orders according to customer-specific requirements and shipping procedures
- Verify SKUs, quantities, product attributes, and order accuracy during picking, packing, and quality-control processes
- Prepare orders for small-parcel, LTL, and other outbound shipments
- Wrap, label, palletize, and stage shipments for pickup or delivery
- Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory control and reconciliation
- Use barcode scanners, warehouse systems, and inventory software accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely
- Operate forklifts when trained and authorized
- Report inventory, product, order, or shipping discrepancies promptly
- Follow established SOPs, customer requirements, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with supervisors and team members
- Assist with other warehouse and fulfillment activities as needed
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, fulfillment, shipping/receiving, distribution, or similar experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to follow established procedures and customer-specific requirements consistently
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal work instructions, product labels, packing slips, customer requirements, and safety instructions in English
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable using computers, barcode scanners, and inventory or warehouse management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
- Forklift certification preferred, but not required
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to safely lift and handle products weighing up to 45 lbs. repeatedly throughout the workday
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, push, pull, carry, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks
- Ability to safely use warehouse equipment and work in an active warehouse environment
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday–Friday
- 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Fixed schedule; consistent attendance during scheduled hours is required
Pay
$22.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on experience
