Responsibilities
- Work closely with suppliers to expedite deliveries
- The liaison between the buyer and the MRO Stores
- Resolve issues with delivery concerns
- Maintain and optimize the MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) database, ensuring accurate pricing, supplier updates, and efficient use of the supplier portal.
- Manage day‑to‑day material and purchasing activities, including inventory parts, spot buys, resolving payment or ordering discrepancies, coordinating repair quotes and shipments, and quickly addressing supplier short‑ or over‑shipments.
- Associate’s degree and no experience
- At least 1 year of purchasing/procurement experience
- Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with the ability to create clear reports, presentations, and data-driven insights.
- A positive, solutions‑focused attitude and strong work ethic, with the drive to follow through and deliver results.
- Excellent project management, organization, communication, and presentation skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams and levels.
- Proven success working within a matrixed organization, navigating cross-functional priorities and building productive relationships.
- Strong multitasking and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to anticipate issues, prioritize workloads, and shift resources as business needs evolve.
- Quick learner, able to absorb new concepts, systems, and processes with ease.
- Previous experience in general purchasing is desirable and adds valuable context for success in this role.
