International Wood Products, LLC (IWP) is an independent, full service stocking distributor of quality building materials. We pride ourselves in offering superior service to independent dealers and contractor-oriented yards. With a fleet of company owned tractor trailers and distribution centers in Clackamas and Medford, OR, Cloverdale, CA, Tumwater, WA, and our new location in Post Falls, ID we are able to service all accounts with a more complete product mix and expanded delivery area.
Our busy and growing organization is looking for an Office Administrator. As our Office Administrator you will work at our new location in Post Falls. This position will report directly to our Branch Manager.
Job Summary:
Oversees multiple support functions for a branch office location. Coordinates space and office organization; purchases and manages supplies and equipment. Coordinates office and/or departmental operations. Reviews and maintains records and databases. Actions directly impact department performance. Reports to the General Manager.
Job Functions:
- Responsible for the management of daily tasks or objectives in the Accounting Department
- Organize and coordinate procedures or processes with other departments to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and safety.
- Point person for supplies, equipment, bills and errands for office
- Responsible for Human Resources tasks such as providing orientation to new employees, maintaining employee files and handling challenges or conflict within other departments
- Assists other departments with reports and special projects as needed
Requirements:
- Proven office management or administrative experience with the knowledge of those related responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Self motivated with excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Handle a wide range of duties with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and MS Office proficient
- Knowledge of State of Washington Human Resources management practices and procedures is preferable
- IT Background or some knowledge of computer systems is preferable
