11150 JANITOR

International Support Group (ISG) is looking for a responsible custodian to maintain and protect its clients' facilities.  The ideal candidates must be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep.  Candidates must have great physical endurance to cover a large space. A keen eye for detail and the ability to follow instructions are imperative. This is a part-time position.

Work Schedule:

Two (2) days at each of the following locations:

• FAA Fort Myers Tower: Saturdays and Sundays (6 hours each day)
• GSA/TSA Fort Myers Airport: Two weekdays - 6 hours each day (days to be determined)

 Responsibilities

• Clean hard floors using appropriate methods such as vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping. Moves chairs, trash receptacles, or other easily movable items to maintain the floors underneath them.
• Strip, wax and machine polish floors.
• Wet mop non-carpeted floors, including entrances, vestibules, lobbies, stairways, landings, and bathrooms. Ensure that underneath easily movable items are mopped.
• Vacuum and clean interior floor mats, areas, and rugs. Ensure that floor mats are free of all visible lint, litter, debris, soil, and other foreign matter.
• Clean and polish all elevator interior walls, guardrails, push plates, elevator buttons, and other fixtures to present a neat, clean, and shining appearance.
• Clean all interior and exterior entry glass mirrors and adjacent trims.
• Clean and polish all decorative metal surfaces, including but not limited to kick plates, railings, and push plates.
• Remove any spillage and marks on adjacent surfaces resulting from applying cleaning agents such as polish.
• Clean and disinfect all surfaces of sinks, toilets, urinals, lavatories, showers, shower mats, dispensers, plumbing fixtures, drinking fountains, saunas, partitions, dispensers, doors, walls, partitions, stalls, stall doors, entry doors, including handle, kick plates, ventilation grates, metal guards), walls, and any other such surfaces.
• Ensure restrooms are stocked sufficiently with provided supplies, including toilet tissue, paper towels, and hand soap.
• Collect and dispose of trash from all waste receptacles, including — but not limited to—exterior wastebaskets, trash receptacles, and smoking urns. Remove any trash boxes or debris stacked near the waste receptacles.
• Replace plastic trash bags and can liners at each service occurrence.
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to schedule(s) provided by the Manager.
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.

Skills 

• Ability to work independently
• Proven experience as a custodian/janitor 
• Must be detail-oriented

 Other Requirements:

• Must be able to pass Government security screenings - secret clearance, level 3
• Must be able to write and read to interpret written manuals and directives.
• Must be able to follow oral instructions for the accomplishment of job assignments.
