Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Manage high volume of incoming calls and emails accurately assessing customer needs.
- Provide clear, valid, and complete information using appropriate tools and resources.
- Handle customer complaints, including escalated or difficult callers, with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, update accounts, and provide follow-up support as needed.
- Process registrations, payments, refunds, and occasional cash-handling transactions.
- Support sales-related inquiries and assist with upselling appropriate products or services.
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette and maintain high service standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years experience in customer service or related role.
- Proven customer support experience and strong phone-handling skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and general office equipment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong work history with a proven track record of punctuality and reliability.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt and respond to diverse personalities.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) and/or experience in the travel industry is a plus.
