International Student Tours, Inc., one of the nation’s leading student travel companies, is seeking a reliable and punctual customer-oriented Customer Relations professional to join our team. The ideal candidate is patient, solution-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should be genuinely excited to help customers, naturally skilled at problem-solving, and passionate about enhancing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Manage high volume of incoming calls and emails accurately assessing customer needs.
  • Provide clear, valid, and complete information using appropriate tools and resources.
  • Handle customer complaints, including escalated or difficult callers, with professionalism and empathy.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, update accounts, and provide follow-up support as needed.
  • Process registrations, payments, refunds, and occasional cash-handling transactions.
  • Support sales-related inquiries and assist with upselling appropriate products or services.
  • Demonstrate strong phone etiquette and maintain high service standards to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years experience in customer service or related role.
  • Proven customer support experience and strong phone-handling skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and general office equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong work history with a proven track record of punctuality and reliability.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt and respond to diverse personalities.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) and/or experience in the travel industry is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
