The International Student Exchange (ISE) is spreading its global mission to cities and towns all across Mississippi—and we’re on the hunt for a true people person with strong community connections to join our team as an energetic ISE Program Representative! If you love meeting new people, bringing cultures together, and making a real difference, this role is for you. You’ll use your local network to help connect American host families with incredible international students from around the world—creating unforgettable experiences and lifelong friendships that span generations.
Duties:
- Recruit, screen, and qualify host families while maintaining regular contact and support.
- Serve as the liasion with the local high school, ensuring students are enrolled, welcomed and taking the appropriate classes
- Conduct in-home interviews and assess the safety of host family environments
- Host student and host family orientations throughout the school year
- Conduct monthly check-ins with students and families, including one in-person meeting every other month
- Engage in outreach and networking to promote ISE and recruit host families
- Maintain accurate records, complete documentation and trainings on-time and within compliance standards
Ideal Candidate:
- Ability to professionally build trust and maintain confidential relationships
- Interest in global cultures and community engagement
- Host Parent, Study Abroad or Work and Study experience, a plus!
