">The primary function of this phlebotomist is to perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge samples, record maintenance data, and decontaminate equipment. They will also be responsible for updating patient information, collecting and storing specimens according to established procedures, and explaining the venipuncture process to patients in a clear and courteous manner.

">- Collecting and processing blood samples for laboratory testing ">
- Labeling and preparing specimens for transport ">

- Assisting with trouble-shooting and making workflow recommendations ">
Requirements and Qualifications
">- Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed (if required) ">
- Minimum 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting ">

- High School Diploma or equivalent ">
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for float positions) ">
