Job Description
You’ll step into a senior paramedic role where clinical judgment, EMS leadership, and hands-on training all matter. In this position, you’ll oversee on-site EMS program operations while mentoring EMTs and paramedics, supporting emergency response readiness, and helping maintain consistent clinical standards across the care environment.
You’ll provide direct paramedic care, guide EMS personnel in protocol adherence, coordinate continuing education, and support clinical improvement through drills, case reviews, after-action reviews, and competency validation. This role is designed for a paramedic who is ready to combine field credibility with training ownership and day-to-day program leadership.

This role is designed for a paramedic who is ready to combine field credibility with training ownership and day-to-day program leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the on-site EMS program, including coverage planning, readiness activities, records, and operational coordination.
- Serve as the senior paramedic resource for EMTs and paramedics, providing clinical mentorship, guidance, and protocol oversight.
- Develop and deliver EMS training, including skills sessions, simulation exercises, continuing education, drills, and competency assessments.
- Support clinical quality improvement through case reviews, after-action reviews, training-gap identification, and protocol updates.
- Perform advanced emergency care, including IV access, blood draws, IO access, intubation, medication administration, and 12-lead ECG interpretation.
- Maintain EMS training records, certification tracking, inventory readiness, patient documentation, and cross-functional support across clinics, emergency room, and inpatient units.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Current U.S. state Paramedic license with National Registry EMT-P, or current unrestricted licenses.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Advanced trauma course required, such as PHTLS, ITLS, TCCC, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in EMS instruction, field training, or clinical education.
- Minimum three (3) years of paramedic experience.
- Certification as a Paramedic from a recognized program.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with a valid passport.
- Ability to obtain and maintain MRPT security clearance and ability to meet deployment-related medical and physical requirements.
- Paramedic experience in remote, military, international, or complex operational healthcare environments.
- Current clearance preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, training, and rapid decision-making skills.
