Senior IT Support / Systems Engineer
We’re looking for a seasoned IT professional with deep experience in enterprise systems, networking, and end-user support. This role requires someone who can own projects end-to-end, provide hands-on technical expertise, and work closely with state agency stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
- Provide application, desktop, and server support for 300 users.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows 7/10, Office 2013–2019, and Office 365.
- Manage and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, Cisco routers/switches, and backup systems.
- Deploy new hardware/software, create workstation images, and resolve connectivity issues.
- Lead disaster recovery replication and system performance improvements.
- Support secure remote access and coordinate with vendors on hardware/software issues.
- Maintain and enhance the agency website and document management integrations.
What we’re looking for:
- 10 years of IT support and systems engineering experience in enterprise or government environments.
- 5 years working with AWS and backup solutions.
- Strong background in LAN/WAN design, networking, and Cisco technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Highview Imaging Application (preferred).
- Proven ability to deliver reliable help desk/application support to large user bases.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and vendor management skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (required).
- Master’s Degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
