Job Description

Purpose of the role
The Aftercare Teacher will supervise students in grades K–5 during our after-school program, help maintain a safe and positive environment, and support students with homework completion, enrichment activities, and recreation.

- Supervise and engage students during aftercare hours
- Assist students with homework and academic support
- Facilitate structured games, activities, and enrichment opportunities
- Maintain a safe, organized, and positive environment
- Monitor student behavior and reinforce school expectations
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
- Ensure accurate student sign-out procedures are followed
- Support dismissal and transition routines as needed
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Must be 18 years-old and be a high school graduate.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
- Positive attitude, reliability, and professionalism
