Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Albuquerque, NM for an Armed Security Guard. The Armed Security Guard will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to security incidents promptly, and ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals and property. Additional responsibilities include crisis management, maintaining detailed reports, and collaborating with law enforcement when necessary. This position requires adherence to legal and company protocols while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in security operations, patrolling, and incident response
- Familiarity with security technology, including surveillance systems and communication devices
- Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assess and mitigate risks
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle high-stress situations effectively
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or security is preferred
- Valid state licensure for carrying a firearm, with demonstrated firearms handling proficiency
- Current CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certifications are advantageous
