About the Role
We are seeking a technically driven Project Sales Support Engineer with strong commercial acumen to join our growing team. This role bridges engineering execution and client collaboration — managing the full project lifecycle from concept and design through fabrication, inspection, and delivery of new process equipment. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical or chemical engineering, hands-on experience with ASME pressure vessels, process equipment, and/or similar type equipment and has an aptitude for client communication, cost estimation, commercial terms and project coordination.
Responsibilities
Project Engineering & Execution
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and oversee the full lifecycle of new process equipment projects — from client and GPS scope definition through fabrication and delivery.
- Coordinate with manufacturing / partners to ensure design intent, defined scope of supply, drawing accuracy, product quality, and compliance with ASME and other international codes as well as client specifications.
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners and vendors to ensure technical alignment and timely delivery of components.
- Develop and maintain accurate project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Identify and implement cost, functionality, and risk optimization in project design.
- Collaborate closely with quality control and inspection teams to resolve fabrication challenges.
Commercial / Client-Facing Responsibilities
- Develop and support the sale of new process equipment opportunities throughout the globe. Collaborate with the Sales team to understand client requirements and translate them into engineered solutions.
- Prepare and present project cost estimates, technical proposals, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with customers to clarify specifications, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project.
- Support proposal development and technical bid preparation for new equipment projects.
- Assist in vendor and partner qualification for future equipment lines.
- Support sales of GPS sold from in stock inventory.
International & Vendor Coordination
- Occasionally and as needed, travel overseas to manufacturing partners to oversee fabrication facilities, inspection, quality control, and project execution. Evaluate shop readiness, production progress, and adherence to company and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement and technical teams to maintain project timelines, transparency and consistency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering (required).
- 5 years of experience in project engineering, fabrication, or process equipment manufacturing. Hands-on familiarity with ASME code design, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, or related process equipment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with budgets ranging from $50K to $5M.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; comfortable interfacing with clients, vendors, and inspectors.
- Experience with project estimation, proposal generation, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with CAD, CRM’s like Hubspot and ERP systems.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (10–25% estimated).
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with international fabrication partners or OEMs.
- Working knowledge of pressure vessel fabrication and shop QA/QC practices.
- Exposure to capital equipment sales or techno-commercial project management.
- Self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset and desire to grow within a global organization.
- Experience and success in communicating with the clients, engineers, and procurement.
- Demonstrated telephone and e-mail communication skills.

Salary : $85,000 - $115,000
