CNC Lathe Machinist – Class A Operator | 2nd Shift
International Precision Machining, Inc. (IPM, Inc.) is seeking an experienced Machinist/Class A Operator to join our second-shift team. This position requires at least three years of recent CNC turning-center experience in a precision job shop, strong tooling knowledge, and the ability to manually measure and inspect precision-machined parts.
Schedule: Monday- Thursday 3:15 pm - 1:30 am
Pay: $24.00-$31.00/ hour based on experience shift differential
Requirements
- 3 years of recent CNC turning-center experience.
- CNC setup experience in a precision job shop.
- Ability to read blueprints and machine parts to specified tolerances.
- Proficiency with manual micrometers and other precision measuring equipment.
- FANUC control and troubleshooting experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Set up proven programs and operate CNC turning centers with FANUC controls.
- Read blueprints, planning sheets, and technical specifications.
- Load programs, install tooling, establish work coordinates, and make basic program edits.
- Adjust feeds, speeds, offsets, and tooling to maintain quality and tolerances.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments.
- Complete production, quality, and ERP documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
