Position Overview
IPCC is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support our purchasing operations. This role is responsible for assisting with purchasing activities, maintaining critical supply levels, and supporting production reporting to ensure our manufacturing processes run efficiently. The Purchasing Assistant will work closely with managers across departments to gather operational data, place and track purchase orders, and help ensure materials and packaging supplies are available to meet production demands. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift Available:
- 1st: 8am-4pm
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain production reports for the CEO
- Gather operational information from managers and enter data into company systems
- Place and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Order and maintain office supplies inventory
- Track packaging supply inventory levels (including stretch wrap, 3M tape, and kraft paper)
- Schedule weekly liquid CO₂ deliveries each Thursday
- Assist with miscellaneous administrative and operational projects as needed
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple departments
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Previous administrative, purchasing, or operations support experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
