We are an investment and development firm seeking an experienced, highly connected Strategic Finance Consultant to support an upcoming executive business trip to New York City and advance several active financing and investment mandates.
The consultant will leverage an established network across New York’s financial ecosystem to secure qualified meetings with investors, lenders, investment banks, private equity firms, family offices and other capital providers.
This is not an administrative scheduling or general business development role. We are looking for a credible finance professional who can open relevant doors, facilitate senior-level discussions and help move opportunities toward execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop a targeted engagement strategy ahead of the executive team’s arrival in New York
• Identify and secure meetings with qualified institutional investors, lenders, private equity firms, family offices and investment banks
• Map prospective capital partners against specific financing and transaction requirements
• Coordinate and facilitate investor presentations, executive meetings, private dinners and strategic discussions
• Advise on positioning, meeting objectives and transaction strategy
• Support financing discussions and follow-up activities after the trip
• Maintain relationships with interested parties and help advance qualified opportunities toward commitments or execution
• Provide market intelligence and strategic guidance throughout the engagement
Key Mandates
The consultant may support opportunities involving:
• Corporate finance and M&A
• Strategic acquisitions and corporate restructuring
• Institutional equity and debt financing
• Private credit and bridge financing
• Commercial real estate development financing
• Structured equity and liquidity solutions
• Public-market and SPAC-related structures, where relevant
Required Qualifications
• Significant experience in investment banking, capital markets, private equity, corporate finance, M&A or commercial real estate finance
• An active and demonstrable network within New York’s investment and lending community
• Established relationships with senior decision-makers and capital providers
• Proven ability to originate qualified introductions and advance commercial discussions
• Strong understanding of financing structures, transaction processes and investor expectations
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
• Executive presence and confidence working with C-suite leaders and high-net-worth individuals
• Based in or near New York City, with availability for in-person meetings in Manhattan
• Appropriate licensing, registration or regulatory standing where required
Preferred Profile
• Former or current investment banker, placement professional, capital markets advisor, private equity executive or senior corporate finance professional
• Track record of supporting capital raises, acquisitions or complex financing transactions
• Experience across both corporate and commercial real estate mandates
• Ability to demonstrate recent, relevant relationships rather than only historical industry exposure
Compensation
