The Job You Will Perform
- Perform a variety of activities to maintain plant equipment and facilities in optimum operating condition
- Scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency/break down reports and maintenance (lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components, observing operations, vibrations & noise levels
- Following all safety rules and practices
- Referencing equipment manuals and other technical literature
- Contacting & working with vendors and sub-contractors
- Accurately using measurement and testing equipment
- Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system and other repairs and installations as needed
- Safely operating the boiler
- Accurately & completely preparing & maintaining maintenance records
- Troubleshooting & solving problems
- Maintaining teamwork with other associates
- Keeping supervision informed of problems & other maintenance situations
- Performing other maintenance duties, as assigned
- Candidates must successfully complete an online Non-Technical General Maintenance Test, an online Technical General Maintenance Test and an Interview
- Employment Offers are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment Health Assessment, Drug Screen and Background Check prior to starting work
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Well-rounded electrical, mechanical & machine shop skills and experience
- Ability to learn and follow instructions
