The Job You Will Perform
- Responsible for graphics design and use operation and setup of computer graphic systems to develop designs that meet customer needs.
- Executes graphic projects and assists in coordination of all graphic production scheduling; coordinates production support with outside vendors as needed.
- Ensures that graphic projects are completed on time within budget and to user's satisfaction.
- Interfaces with users to determine scope of project and best graphic medium.
- Utilizes current graphic design technology and computer software and hardware mediums to develop designs.
- Prepares designs for proofing mock-up and final output to film. Originates design art and copy layouts.
- Determines style size and arrangement of type and illustrations.
- Provides instructions or directly assembles and prepares final layouts for production. Typically reports to graphic design leader or supervisor.
- BS or BA in related field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of POP graphic design experience is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Creativity and a passion for innovative thinking.
- Proficiency in FormZ, Strata or other comparable 3D modeling application is a plus.
- Knowledge of offset lithographic, flexographic and digital printing processes and the requirements to be considered when developing artwork.
- Excellent time management, organizational, communication, and Interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working on multiple projects under tight time constraints.
