After an initial onboarding period, New Hires immediately begin training to certify for higher jobs and higher pay in a line of progression.
As you move up through the lines of progression, you will be required to test and certify in each job. Each job entails working on a team that runs a process by operating equipment systems, monitoring details, trouble shooting and adjusting to ensure performance of the process.
You will be responsible for conducting tests and inspections to evaluate the quality of products, making sure the procedures are followed properly and assessing the reliability of the running systems and machines.
The job will require critical thinking skills for technical & mechanical decisions.
The physical demands for the job will include
Climbing, working at heights, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials
Team Player – Collaborate and work cooperatively across a multifunctional team
Dependability – Arrive to work on time and work your scheduled shifts
Self-Motivation – Show effort towards training to move up to next position and accepting feedback to make improvements or take corrective action
At least 18 years of age
Minimum high school graduate or GED
Eligible for employment in the US
Must be willing to meet the following requirements:
Operate or work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery or elevated working surfaces (with proper safety training and safety protection)
Must pass a criminal background check as a condition of employment
Undergo a job-related health assessment as a condition of employment
Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment
Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment
Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule
Work overtime on a regular basis and with last-minute notification
Work holidays and weekends on a regular basis
Wear required safety equipment
