Millwright

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Industrial Maintenance Millwright to join our team at our Springfield Assembly Plant.  These are represented positions with excellent benefits including dental, medical and a generous 401k. *Sign-On Bonus: We are offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus (less applicable taxes) for newly hired skilled trades positions*  

Must be able to work any shift.  Starting hourly rate of $36.42/hour, plus 6% shift differential (2nd or 3rd shift), paid overtime and excellent benefits that start day 1.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Ensuring machines work properly
• Repairing and replacing defective machine parts
• Assemble and install new machinery
• Maintaining properly the equipment and machinery by identifying and repairing problematic parts and by finding solutions adequately
• Following approved safety regulations at all times

Minimum Requirements

• At least 8 years of millwright experience

OR

• A UAW Journeyman Millwright Card

Additional Requirements

• Experience with Industrial Maintenance, Conveyors, Carrier and GK Shaker conveyors, Oil Analysis, Hoists, Cranes, Predictive, Preventative Maintenance, Root-Cause Analysis, Fabrication and Design preferred
• Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required
• Documented and certified welder (Mig, Tig and Stick)

Desired Skills

• Positive Attitude, Ethics and International Values which support our company’s values, and a healthy, high performance

• Ability to read blueprints

• Previous experience as a carpenter

• Certified overhead, structural and pipe welder

• Previous experience as a sheet metal worker
