Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Shift Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Home Health team. In this role, you will provide skilled nursing care to children with complex medical needs in a home setting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of pediatric patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate families on care plans, disease management, and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency standards.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and families.
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of [Insert State].
- Minimum of 1 year of pediatric or home health experience (preferred).
- CPR and BLS certification (PALS preferred).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
