There are so many great schools, such as the University of Chicago, Illinois Institute of Technology, University of Illinois Chicago branch, DePaul University, Art Institute of Chicago, and Loyola University. These schools have a total of about 25,000 international students, which are tomorrow's leaders from all over the world. Chicago is a great place to do international student ministry. This position is part of the Chicago ministry team and requires the candidate to live near the campus on which they will be serving.
As a Chicago Ministry Coordinator, you'll be instrumental in campus ministry to international students, fostering church relations, and coordinating volunteers. Your duties include organizing cultural activities, leading Bible discussion groups, mentoring students, establishing church partnerships, and managing volunteer recruitment and activities.

Expected Work Schedule For The Chicago Ministry Coordinator
- Full- or part-time, flexible schedule
- Occasional evenings and/or weekends for specific ministry needs
- Annual conferences such as the IFI Staff Retreat
- Requires the development of a ministry partner team to provide prayer and financial support to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expenses
- Training is provided to develop a team of ministry partners
- Pay range is typically between $27,274 and $84,872 after the period of support development, based on experience and other factors

- Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies
- Faithful in evangelism and hospitality to international students as well as discipling believers to do the same
- Well organized, takes initiative, able to work independently or collaboratively
- Flexible and adaptable
- Proficient with technology necessary to the ministry, including Microsoft Office and Google applications
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in education and/or ministry-related field or demonstrated experience mobilizing, training, and ministering to people
- Cross-cultural ministry experience, preferred
