(Chicago/Hybrid) The Salesforce Platform Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud (Non-Profit Success Pack) and Salesforce Marketing cloud. Ensuring optimal system performance, enhancements, user adoption, and alignment with business goals. This role bridges business needs with technical solutions, managing the platform’s configuration and integrations. The Salesforce Platform Manager will report directly to the Senior Director of Information Services. This position is based in our Chicago headquarters.
We are seeking an individual with a Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor's in Information Technology or a related field. Certifications for this position include Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Advanced Administrator. We require three to seven years of Salesforce experience (administration, platform management, or similar). NPSP experience preferred. Strong understanding of Salesforce data structure, automation tools (Flows), reporting, and security. Experience managing projects and coordinating with stakeholders. Experience using Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL). Preferred experience with Salesforce NPSP and Marketing Cloud. Background in managing outsourced teams or consulting partners. Project management experience is preferred.

- Oversee configuration of objects, fields, flows, validation rules, page layouts, automations and integrations with third-party systems. Troubleshoot issues and provide resolutions.
- Lead or support Salesforce-related projects, including enhancements, migrations, and integrations. Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Monitor system performance, deploy Salesforce updates and ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Maintain documentation for system architecture and processes. Ensure that development adheres to best practices and complies with security and data standards.
- Work with internal teams or external partners to ensure high-quality configuration and code.
- Standard Operating Procedures{{-}} Identify, develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedure documents to keep department and institutional knowledge current.
