(Chicago/Hybrid) The Hispanic Outreach Manager is tasked with creating multi-channel fundraising strategies tailored to Hispanic audiences, ensuring alignment with cultural considerations and integration across channels. The role includes building collaborative relationships within the organization and with external partners to support strategic planning, meetings, and reporting. This position will report to the Sr. Director, Strategy and Special Projects and collaborate closely with the Sr. Director of Outreach. This position is based in our Chicago headquarters.
We are seeking an individual with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or Nonprofit Management or related discipline. A minimum of 3 years of experience in multi-channel fundraising or a comparable position is required. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities is necessary, as well as experience with both customer-facing projects (such as fundraising and direct response marketing) and back-end projects (including operations, technology, and finance).
Essential Job Responsibilities Include:
Strategy and Development:
- Assisting in acquisition of new donors and relevant partnerships.
- Assisting the implementation of retention strategies and tactics across all pertinent channels. Ensuring plans are executed according to plan, on time, and within budget.
- Maintain testing roadmap with vendors to ensure timely execution of all creative and testing
- Review creative and routes to internal team and brand review process; collaborate with to ensure scripts and donation pages are set up to support channels
- Coordinate assets and content for new campaigns, testing, managing approval processes, facilitating communication between all internal and external vendors.
- Maintain production trackers and set-back calendars for all creative and testing.
Collaborative Engagement:
- Facilitate communication between internal and external vendors. Serve as point person for departmental projects as needed.
- Collaborate with channel managers and external partners to establish budgets to ensure acquisition and retention recommendations are effective in meeting channel goals.
Project Management, Reporting and Standard Operating Procedures:
- Conduct ongoing monitoring of goal progression to ensure progress is meeting or beating expectations.
- Manage monthly reporting, reforecast, and ad hoc reports as needed.
- Reallocate resources and adjust timelines as necessary.
- Review reports and QC’ing data between internal and external vendors; work with analytics to ensure PowerBI reporting is accurate for channels.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures as related to the effective performance of the position and department.
Technical & Individual Skills:
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
- Experience in fundraising strategies.
- Experience in project management.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office, specifically with Excel.
- Excellent customer service skills are necessary to efficiently and professionally interact with vendors and staff, including senior management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy required.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and projects with specific or competing deadlines.
- Knowledge of the Evangelical Christian market along with an understanding of Jewish tenets a plus Knowledge of The Fellowship’s programs with the ability to gather a deep understanding of our programs.
