We seek a highly motivated, experienced team leader to join our Document Management Team at IEE. As Team Lead, you will guide individuals toward achieving company goals and promoting a positive team culture. You will cultivate an atmosphere of collaboration and communication, while equipping team members with tools for success.
Background Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree or some college with at least 3 years of employment experience at a college or university in a student services department
· 3 years of administrative management experience including supervision of multiple full-time personnel
· Prior work experience in an academic records, legal records, or medical records setting is a plus
· Prior work experience in a university registrar’s office, admissions office, or international services office is a plus
· 2 years managing high performing teams

Key Responsibilities
· Directly manages IEE’s 7-person Document Management Team which is responsible for scanning, organization, indexing, and verification of physical records that are received via drop-off or mail/shipping
· Oversees communication with customers about missing items that are required for a complete evaluation file in addition to communication regarding verification holds
· Oversees reception and customer support provided at our “walk-up” window for local customers who are dropping off/picking up documents
· Writes procedures, implements workflow systems, and coordinates work among staff members; creates and maintains internal training manuals and resources
· Sets clear objectives, defines responsibilities and communicates expectations
· Establishes work schedules for all team members based on organizational needs
· Establishes and tracks key performance indicators for all team members. Routinely provides constructive feedback to direct reports. Supports and guides team members to ensure they meet their individual targets and KPIs
· Generates reports on team performance and provide regular updates to senior management
· Leads weekly team meetings which focus on communicating expectations, providing opportunities for improvement, learning new skills, solving problems, and goal setting
· Collaborates with other production team leads and Operations Managers to create efficiencies that will support operational excellence and help meet organizational goals
· Acts as primary liaison with IT for Doc Mgmt tech/dev needs
· Recruits and hires additional team members as necessary; trains hew hires

Schedule: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm
