Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Along with generating sales we also maintain a large rental of fleet of our innovative products in order to boost efficiency and make our customers more competitive in today’s market.

ICE® seeks a full time Mechanic to provide diagnostics and repairs on our hydraulic and diesel pile-driving equipment, Comacchio drill rigs and Tecniwell grouting equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems

· Document service as well as parts required to complete repairs

· Work in a shop environment and on job sites to complete repairs

· Be a motivated, team player with a great work ethic

· Load and unload equipment

· Willing to travel to perform work on jobsites

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED required

· 2 years Heavy Equipment repair experience preferred

· Valid state driver's license and internal certification for the operation of a forklift

· Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime based upon work load

· Be able read and follow and troubleshoot from electrical and hydraulic schematics

· Have own basic hand tools with specialty tools provided

· Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment, where tasks often change

With the ability to lift 50 lbs., stand on your feet for the duration of your shift, and wear appropriate PPE

You must be able to pass a drug test, background check as it relates to the role, and completion of an I-9 form.

Pay for this position will be commensurate with experience as it relates to the requirements and expectations of the position as outlined above.
