Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assembly of Columbarium's units, components, panels, doors, hardware, and related products according to drawings and specifics.
- Manage the daily duties of the production workers
- Train new employees on all aspects of production
- Identify opportunity of process improvements and implement changes to enhance productivity and quality.
- Lifting and relocating shipments manually and using pallet jacks or forklift
- Material handling of all product involved within the department.
- Conduct walk thru for inventory to keep a current approximate count on all raw materials in stock.
- Speak with president of UVP and purchasing to order materials need, along with using MRP for inventory supplies.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Make sure products are received in properly with no damages
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements
- 5 years of experience
- Forklift certified
- Ability to stay organized
- Safety Management
- Quality Focus
- Power Tools
- Bilingual/Spanish speaking Preferred
