Role Description
Full or part-time hybrid role of Professor of Nursing primarily located in Boynton Beach, Florida, with flexibility for some remote work. The role requires teaching and service that will advance the discipline of nursing and contribute to the mission of the College. The individual filling this position will provide nursing instruction to undergraduate and graduate-level nursing students. Additionally, the successful candidate will engage in scholarly service activities and participate in professional development among other responsibilities.
Qualifications
- A masters in nursing is required/ doctorate preferred. An APRN license is also preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in a nursing program is preferred.
- Experience in academic service, scholarly activity, and curriculum development is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, a dedication to scholarship, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion are essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a commitment to developing the whole person through transformative teaching, personalized attention, and rigorous academic preparation.
