Responsibilities
Responsible, well-organized, creative problem solver who can work with festival delegates, subject-matter workshop leaders, performance groups, and supporters and sponsors. Excellent comportment, good communication, and strong writing skills for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
This is an on-site, full-time, unpaid summer internship. You will work on-site at the ICAF office, 2600 Virginia Avenue NW, Washington, DC, from 10 am to 5 pm on weekdays. Some flexibility can be negotiated—round-the-clock work during the festival week (July 24 to July 29).
Qualifications
Graduate student preferred. An undergrad applicant must have experience in event planning or fundraising, proven organizational skills, or social media expertise. Foreign language is a plus.
