Position: Public Programs Assistant

Requested availability: Wednesday or Thursday, up to two four-hour shifts available per week, either 10AM-2 PM or 1 PM-5 PM.
Public Programs at ICP's Center for Visual Culture produces over 60 public programs a year promoting adult learning and visual literacy in photography, humanities, and visual culture. Public program events include: The Naomi Rosenblum ICP Talks Photographer Lecture Series, PhotoSLAM, Late Night ICP, Cameras & Coffee, as well as panels, lectures, book signings, film screenings, performances, symposia, Photobook Fest, and more.
The Public Programs department is seeking a work-study student to provide administrative support for public programs. Tasks include preparing weekly visual presentations, updating templates with new information about courses and events at ICP, doing outreach for upcoming public programs, and when applicable, helping with set-up and breakdown of events, checking in visitors, and assisting with the program as needed.
