Parts Manager
International Fleet Services has become Connecticut's and Southern NE's leader in the maintenance, diagnoses and repair of medium and heavy duty trucks, trailers and equipment.
Salary: up to $72,800 including monthly production bonuses and year end bonuses
Work Schedule: M-F 7:30am - 4:00pm
Job Summary: International Fleet Services is seeking a Parts Manager to oversee our expanded parts inventory and support our service department. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and possess a strong mechanical and parts background. They will manage inventory processes, assist with repair orders, handle incoming calls, and ensure mechanics have the right parts delivered promptly at the best prices. This role contributes to maximizing profitability and supporting our growth in a state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities:Qualifications:
- Manage and organize the parts inventory in a large, modern shop
- Assist with writing parts into repair orders and communicate with mechanics
- Handle incoming phone calls related to parts and inventory needs
- Oversee reordering, purchasing, and expanding parts stock
- Ensure timely delivery of parts to mechanics
- Maintain accurate inventory records and optimize inventory processes
- Collaborate with the service team to meet operational needs
- Support sales of lubricants, hardware, and other parts
- Strong mechanical knowledge and parts experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Customer service and sales skills
- Proactive team player with a positive attitude
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
