What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate - Groundskeeper position at International Auto Processing LLC?
Essential Duties:
- Cut grass around main buildings and roadways.
- Weed eat as necessary around building, fence lines, parking lots, etc. using power weed eater or manually.
- Fertilize according to an established schedule.
- Trim shrubs.
- Pick up all trash and debris from around company buildings or on company premises.
- Apply pesticides and herbicides to parking lots and fence lines.
- Fill and grade holes in non-paved parking lots.
- Maintain a clean and hazard free work environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.
- Operate riding lawn mower and other lawn care equipment both powered and handheld.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- SHIFT: Monday – Friday 6:00am – 3:30pm with the possibility of overtime and/or weekend work as directed by business needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Valid US Driver’s License
- Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and to communicate clear and concise instructions to other employees.
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Deadline and detail oriented
Physical Attributes:
- Lift, push, and or pull up to 50lbs
- Stand, bend, and or kneel throughout shift
- Work exposed to outdoor elements such as heat, cold, rain, and or any other conditions out of doors
