Payroll Administrator

A busy construction firm is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing weekly payroll operations with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience working with ADP, certified payrolls, unions, and multiple reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage weekly payroll through ADP and job costing software for union and non-union employees
• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in compliance with client and government requirements
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with union contracts, prevailing wages, and payroll regulations
• Work across multiple payroll reporting platforms as required by clients and agencies
• Maintain accurate employee records, deductions, and benefits
• Gather new hire and re-hire information for timely and accurate onboarding
• Assist with audits, reporting, and reconciliation as needed
• Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure seamless payroll operations

Requirements

• ADP payroll system experience (required)
• Certified payroll and union payroll experience (required)
• Experience with multiple payroll reporting platforms
• Construction industry payroll background strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
