International Air Tool Company is a distributor of high-performance pneumatic tools and industrial supplies serving manufacturers located in Southern California, Mexico, and Worldwide. We are both an e-commerce company and a traditional distributor meaning we drop ship and warehouse locally. We represent word class brands of tools and feature 18,000 products on our online storefront.

Our mission is to help our clients increase productivity, reduce operating costs, and improve operator safety by helping them select the right tools for the job.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Operations Specialist located in San Marcos, CA. The Operations Specialist will be responsible for shipping and receiving, inventory control, material handling, deliveries around town, some spreadsheet updates, and some back-up customer support.

Qualifications

• Very strong worth ethic - this is a busy and fast paced job. The workload can get heavy during peak seasons.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of pick lists, packing slips, sales orders, quotes, RMA's, and invoices
• Prior Shipping and Receiving experience - Familiarity with FEDEX and UPS portals, making labels, scheduling and tracking orders, etc.
• Inventory Control experience - Organizing inventory, establishing MIN / MAX levels and setting up warehouses and or storeroom work flows.
• Verbal, Written, and Email Communication skills - Must be able to comfortably communicate with internal team members and vendors to obtain the desired outcomes and solve problems.
• Experience in QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or Similar
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel Skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Focus, detail and accuracy - Must learn from prior mistakes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Enjoy working in a small, family-owned business
